I am thankful everyday for the great gift that is yoga. The precious time I spend practicing yoga’s healing postures provides me with much needed physical and psichological cleansing. Yoga gives me a sense of peace, and equally important, it gives me inner strength to face the complexities of life in the 21st century. This short video shares my understand of yoga’s ancient teachings and explains how I apply them into my every day life. Now that yoga entered the mainstream, it is more important than ever for yoga teachers to communicate how postures, breathing techniques and meditation are rooted from moral principles. Yoga addresses the ethical life through a whole range of practices that encourages us to live in harmony with nature, making our actions conductive to both personal and planetary health.
